KES Drama presents Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's enchanting and intricate musical, Into the Woods. What begins as a classic fairytale mash-up soon unravels into a complex and humorous journey where wishes are granted—but not without a price.
Join Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), and a baker and his wife as they venture into the forest to fulfill their deepest desires. But once their wishes are granted, they discover that life in the woods—and life after "happily ever after"—is more complicated than they ever imagined.
Content Guidance: This production may not be suitable for younger patrons. The story explores darker, more complex elements found in the original Brothers Grimm fairytales, including themes of death and loss. The performance includes scenes with stylized violence and stage blood as well as strobe lighting and sudden loud sound effects.
